I do wonder if some of what you are seeing has to do with an increased number of choices now available both in the local community and on the Web. I've been attending events put on by the Bucks County Nonprofit Center and Webinars by various organizations. I don't think you can discount the impact of the expanding availability of information and other resources on the Web - online magazines, enewsletters, etc. to help stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in the nonprofit sector and beyond. Lately, I've found I'm spending a lot of time staying up-to-date on business trends in general - not those specific to the nonprofit sector, but very relevant to what I need to know. I'm still a satisfied member of the LaSalle Nonprofit Center, but utilize other resources too, for rejuvenation, support and new insights. I hope others are doing the same. Really?
